US: ISM non-manufacturing PMI

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) reported on Thursday its non-manufacturing index fell to 54.8 in October from 57.1 in September.

Expectations were for a higher reading of 56.0 in October. Still, a reading above 50 signals expansion in the sector and the ISM index has come above the 50 threshold for 81 straight months.

The Markit gauge of non-manufacturing activity reported earlier came in at 54.8 in October, matching expectations and the previous' month print.
